How we are funded and managed

SWAYED is a voluntary youth organisation providing access to free and safe youth activities for young people from across the Southside of Glasgow. We are managed by a voluntary Board made up of local representative and senior officers from our delivery partners and supported by the youth work staff of Young Glasgow at Glasgow Life.  This is our 10th year and since we were established we have grown to become the largest youth work provider across the South West with programmes covering sports, arts and employability.

None of this could be possible without the ongoing support of the Scottish Government, Glasgow City Council, Glasgow Life and the Glasgow Housing Association.

Current Board (2016/17):

Margaret Leitch (Chair), Michael Radcliffe, Jean Honan, Cjay Quigley, Mark Hume and Pamela Brogan.
